Before jetting off to Europe the annual fundraising ride from Mount Gambier to Melbourne will be taking place this labour-day long-weekend! (Friday 9 – Monday 12 March)
In support of Medecins Sans Frontieres the Greenhams will be cycling 500km from Mount Gambier, SA, to Melbourne. This year we are again joined by the Headlam family (Peter, Kerry, Shane) from Naracoorte and Barb Toma and Duncan Wishart from Casterton, who for the first time will be riding the full distance. All have done sections with us in previous years.
The itinerary is as follows:
– 50km Mount Gambier to Dartmoor [departing 5pm Friday from G&D Cycles];
– 150km Dartmoor to Warrnambool [departing 8am Saturday from Dartmoor Museum, 10.30am Heywood Bakery, 3pm Port Fairy Bella-Claire Gourmet House ];
– 165km Warrnambool to Inverleigh [departing 8am Sunday Brocky’s Cafe, 12.30pm Camperdown Visitor Information Centre]; and
– 100km Inverleigh to Melbourne [departing 8am Monday Inverleigh Store, 12pm Werribee Train Station].
